Who’s finally feeling festive? It took me a while but after decorating the tree this weekend I’m starting to get into the spirit.

🎄My final ‘12 days of Christmas’ hand painted bisque baubles will be going online tonight @ 6.30pm!

💫There are only 4x decorations left, each painted with gouache acrylics and finished with gold touches, gems, a gloss varnish and natural silk ribbon.

This painting and another will be on display at the ‘Folk Exhibition’ in Frome at ‘The Gallery At The Station from 1st Dec-5th Jan.

Join me and a range of local Artists, Printmakers, Illustrators and Designers for the private viewing this Friday 1st December with live music, drinks and nibbles.

Painted with a mix of watercolour and gouache this piece was inspired by the Welsh folktale ‘Blodeuwedd’.

The story talks of magicians creating a woman from the flowers oak, broom, primrose and meadowsweet. She was later turned into an owl after betraying her husband. ‘Blodeuwedd’ is the ancient name for owl and is considered by some to be the welsh goddess of spring bringing warmth and new life in the form of flowers. 🌸🦉

These are one off hand painted originals, each in a unique painted frame, so once they’re gone I won’t be reproducing them.
